I'm never was going to do any serious off road trips but I did want 4 wheel drive when I went to my dealer all they had was the OR And my sales guy did give me a good deal a told me to go drive it don't get me wrong I love it and bought it and it only had 1500 miles on it so I went back to asking some questions about it and they still didn't have any Sports and I really wanted that too start with so I told another sales guy that and he said I can order you one and it will be here tomorrow and I could transfer my warranty and just pay a little extra for transfer and dealer cost so I got to take the OR home pull the grill and all the extras that I already put on the OR to install back on the sport when I drove the sport it seemed to ride a little smoother on the road but the OR definitely is better on the dirt and I just preferred the color match and a little more of a smoother ride on the street but in some I will need 4 WD at the boat ramp etc so I decided to make the switch early and do love both trucks hard decision

Looks great!! I gotta ask about your winch and light setup. I've got the rough country light that involves cutting part of the lower grill out. After the fact I realized this didn't leave much room for a winch, or so I thought. Do you by chance have pictures of when you installed yours? Maybe the light bar setup you have leaves more room. Really like your setup!!!

So I don't have a lot of pictures of the install, I do have a few but after looking at them they would literally be of no help to you. So I had my 32" light bar installed PRE-WINCH BUMPER....it was already there. I didn't have to do any cutting whatsoever to install the light bar. The main difference (according to Eddy Tenegan of SOS Offroad Concepts) is how I anchored my light bar which allowed the winch full clearance with no issues. When you remove the grille and bezel my light bar is securely anchored to the thick plastic body panel that the grille trim piece sits down on. I used stainless hardware and large washers and lock washers and have had ZERO movement or issues with loosening. Basically I used the brackets the light bar came with but instead of mounting them down to the factory aluminum I-Beam behind the plastic bumper I reversed them, in effect hanging the light bar from them with them secured through the thick plastic that is then covered up and not visible once the grille is put back on.......also a helluva lot easier to get to should they need tightening. This freed up space and allowed full winch clearance for the Smittybilt XRC Gen II 9.5K with synthetic rope. In the picture I am including if you look carefully above and just to the side of the light bar you can see the stainless bolts through the plastic anchoring my light bar.

    • Removed OEM roof rack, it didn't last two weeks. I just hated how it looked
    • Removed tonneau cover and all bed accessories
    • Reinstalled exhaust tip after a coat of satin black high temp paint
    • Installed Pro tail lights
    • Installed a Thule Xsporter bed rack to make it easier to transport our paddle boards

Looks awesome I've been looking for a black exhaust tip myself and found a place that does powder coating... I'm curious how that would hold up vs high temp paint on an exhaust tip.

Thanks! Both would work well. Powder coating would come out a little better but would be drastically more I'd think, close to the price of the exhaust tip. High temp paint is only $5 a can or so and there's still a lot of options (color and finish (gloss, satin, flat/matte)). The finish isn't perfect but I'm happy with it. If you paint, ensure you sand it with a medium grit sandpaper some and clean it fully. Also do a few medium coats followed by a heavy coat. I had to redo mine due to poor prep and too light of coats

As soon as I got in it I could tell all the mirrors were facing downward. Now all 4 fenders are exactly 21.5" to the wheel center. Perfect.
