Whats your camping situation going to be like without the RTT? Your prinsu should arrive sometime soon (if I remember correctly you ordered a week or two after me), any plans for a new RTT or are you gonna switch it up and go another route?

    Interested to see your plans!

Just saw this! We are going tent shopping soon. I'll keep you posted.

I have plans for a hardshell RTT down the line, but not until I have a either a trailer or a daily driver.

    A little update on things:

I got out of surgery yesterday and everything went great according to the surgeon. I have never had surgery today so I definitely didn't expect this much pain lol. But it's manageable and I'm getting better by the hour.

    Truck updates:

Prinsu full length rack arrived today and will sit next to my Kings in its box until I can get some help from @GHOST SHIP and feel better haha. Won't be able to pick up a shock for 4 weeks because they are too heavy :(

Also found some solid ways to spend more money. Check these quad projectors from the retrofit source.

I got you Matt. The Prinsu is going to be a 2 man job just because of the size, so we'll wait for you to get your strength back. Right now the most important thing is to take it easy and let your body heal.
Back in 2012, I got sideswiped while riding my moto on the freeway. Broke my knee, wrist, separated my shoulder and got road rash all over because it was summer and like an idiot all I was wearing for protection was a hoodie, jeans and my chucks. I did have my hard shell gloves on so that saved my hands at least. Worst pain of my life. Even the simplest of tasks became a chore for me. It was definitely a humbling experience to say the least. About 95% back to normal now, but that sure beats what could've been the worst case scenario in that situation.
The moral of the story: you're young and in good health so you should bounce right back as long as you give your body time to heal. Take it easy and don't let your pride force you to do something stupid that could prolong your recovery.

    That's my "old guy" advice...

    You are the man Sergio!

I'm definitely taking it slow. I'm a bitch when it comes to pain so I'm being a baby haha

I like to think I can handle some pain, but if you ask my lady, I was being a baby for two weeks. She's here to keep me grounded so sometimes it's good to get knocked back down to reality ever once in a while.

Oh I forgot! Today I worked on the truck vicariously by writing checks...

Rear brake pads, rotors turned, tires rotated, extended rear brake lines installed, oil change, cabin air filter, and cleaned filter in the CAI.

all really needed to be done. Feel good about it

That looks pretty cool, do the seats still recline or are they stuck?

The models with third row seats from 2014 actually don't recline so nothing changed there

Just ordered up another lightbar with the TRS 4th of July 25% off sale.

Once I install the Kings, Roof Rack, drawers and the 27" lightbar in the grill, modding is on hold until January I would guess. Maybe later.

Lindsay and I just planned out our summer road trip to move her to south carolina. Stops include Williams-AZ, Santa Fe-NM, Amarillo-TX, Dallas-TX, Little Rock-AR, Memphis-TN, Nashville-TN, and home in SC.

Should be awesome. Looking for suggestions of things to do in each place. We will be in the civic so nothing off road. We are seeing Kendrick Lamar in Nashville lol. Wanted to see a good country artist, but none are around when we are there.

Also just planned our trip to NYC in October! Pretty amped for that. Lindsay has never been and I love it there. My best friend just moved there so it will be good to see him too. Spending a good 5 days with red eye flights so they are full days. Will be great to visit Lindsay while she is away at school in such a great trip.

In other words, I will be broke as shit this year... lol

You planning on moving to SC? I believe I remember you saying a while back that you might relocate while she is in school

No just her. It's a 9 month program. I'll be in LA, my favorite city.
