His chair yoga speech was meant to make the old lady change her mind. That's the only reason the other lawyer showed up and agreed to it

Season 2 was pretty good too, the Jimmy stuff was a bit boring compared to the Mike stuff. But I pushed thru, just need season 3 to come on

*** Spoiler Alert if you haven't seen S4 E1. Please just hit the back button! ***

I can't believe this thread hasn't had a hit since season 4 started yesterday. A few of thoughts.

I'm thinking the long recount of Jimmy's passout and hospital trip while working for Cinnabon is showing us that he can successfully impersonate another person. He did this to avoid a hospital bill. We might see that "skill" come in handy as he takes on the future role of Saul Goodman.

I also think he felt personally responsible for Chuck's death until Howard thought he was at fault for kicking him out of the firm. The internal conflict was killing Jimmy but Howard gave him an out. He could now internally blame it on Howard. He had a mental scape-goat. That's why his personality went from depressed to elated in a few minutes.

Haven't quite figured out what's going on with Nacho and the drug operation continuing. Being watched dumping the pills over the bridge isn't going to be good for him.

Don't know exactly what Mike's up to yet. The security consultant just is good paying but I think there will be other agenda's with it like access to the stuff in the warehouse.

He was still 'Gene', the name he got assumedly from the fixer at the end of BB. I think he's just having panic attacks.

My take on the 'Howard's cross to bear' was just like yours, plus Chuck had told him he was always going to be the 'hurter' in life, quit beating himself up and embrace it. Now he knows it's a human fallacy, not just his own. Or maybe you're right, just another fake face at remorse and on to the next con. In fact, didn't he tip off the insurer to Chuck in the first place? I forget.

It may have been no one's cross but Chuck's, he seemed befuddled by his illness more than depressed about HHM.

Nacho was watched by Gus's boy Victor, no worries there.

I would imagine Lydia is already supplying Gus with methylamine or else Madrigal wouldn't be footing the bill for him to work for Gus.

The big question? Bruce Lee or Mohammed Ali?

Man, I'm digging Kim this year......and that '69 Olds.

Hating that Jimmy is prob. going to screw her over just like any one else that won't get out of his way now. Seems to be a running story in Gilligans writing.

Interesting story. Was Chuck right all along?

    I know that wasn't a real 442 but I still cringed.

So I'm about 3/4 the way done with season 3 and damn this show has gotten really good. I remember struggle busing the first season, enjoying quite a few episodes in season 2 and basically binge watching the 3rd haha. Hopefully I'll be caught up here to the 4th season in the next 3ish weeks

It's tying into BB pretty fully now, I expected 3 yrs. ago for there to be gap between the two that Saul just goofed around being a 'criminal lawyer'.

BTW. I know lots of people cut the cord and have to catch up so

ya'll notice the guy that stole the figurine was Ira, Vamonos Pest owner?

I wonder when exactly Chuck's "undated" letter to Jimmy was written?

I'm willing to bet it was written when kim went to the courthouse.

"Remember Jimmy, I'll always be in your corner" sounds like her words, not Chuck's.

She's crying because she sees Saul is dead inside (like Chuck said all long) or that she feels Saul is dismissing her personally after writing a 'nice letter'.

You are probably right, I didn't think she would think she would try to pull that off because Jimmy would recognize Chuck's handwriting, but she could have typed it. And I'm sure Saul knows Chuck would not write something so respectful to him.

Didn't realize there were only 10 episodes a season. Finished season 3 last night, not the ending I envisioned.

    M. McKean should have award for this minute long one cut monologue from S3-ep05. starts about the 3 minute mark. Yea, he knows the letter is fake.

I would have to agree with you. Chuck despised Jimmy.
