Happy new owner of 2002 Toyota Tacoma Xtracab PreRunner V6. Gassing up at the station I accidentally dribbled gas on the black fender flare and it turned light gray. I immediately tried to wash it off but its still there. Will it eventually fade? or do I need to put something on it to make it go away. Please advise.

Fist off, welcome to the forum! There are several ways to fix your problem. Go to the auto parts store and buy a bottle of trim/bumper "black" restorer and if that doesn't work would could respray it with trim/bumper paint that Rustoleum makes.

Just keep on washing it. It will eventually come off on it's own.

    Welcome aboard!
