    I tried to do web search and did not find any info. I understand strength is in the frame. But vehicles are of different height, so there's a possibility the truck bed will absorb the impact. Are there any data, personal experience, or point me to the thread to read?

    Steel vs composite bed. And I guess we should add aluminum beds too now.

    Any discussion will be more than what I could find. TIA
