Sooo if I just need to install it above the coil, is there any other parts that I will need? Like bushings and other odds and ends? I'm trying to figure it out on my own but there's so many different types of lifts I don't know what to go with. Also, could my shocks be bad since I installed it wrong??

Don't run spacers, rough ride and they can break your shocks. Get some coilovers.

Nothing else needed, shocks should be fine.

honestly I am kinda surprised you where able to stick that in there that way, did you jack up the cab from the frame?? your truck must not have gained any lift what so ever really. but you didn't post any before and after pictures, so i am just guessing out loud here.

the type of spacer you have in your picture is supposed to be installed in between the top of your coil and underneath the top hat. this is not the spacer that goes on top of the entire strut assembly unit

Yeah I feel like a dumbass, but hey I was trying to do it myself! I probably didnt gain much lift at all. I installed the 5100s which are adjustable so that's probably the only semi lift in there. Im just trying to find out what i need before I tear onto it again

you will need a way to compress the spring so you can remove the top hat and install the spacer, then reassemble

This is how it should look, you have to drop the shock out and add it to the top and put it back in.

@Jps_taco did the kit you purchased come with directions??

I think it is very import you understand there are many different type of front spacer lifts. They are Not all the same.

The picture I originally posted of the revtek kit is supposed to go in between the coil and top hate

    HOWEVER !!!!

as you see the picture @justdoit has posted, that spacer goes ON Top of the top hat sandwiched under the coil bucket

looking at the spacer you have in your OP, I do believe now your spacer should most likely go On Top of the top hat and under the coil bucket just as @justdoit has mentioned.

Any tricks to getting the shock assembly back in once I have the spacer installed? I'm having a hell of a time getting it to line up so I can get the lower bolt back in. I've loosened the LCA and still can't get the right angle needed.

I found it easier to pull the lower ball joint bolts and drop the lca down and out of the way, I think the 2 are 19mm
