Yeah, I can't fit any of those switches. I already clearanced all of the switch openings to fit the larger carling type. It's okay though, I wanted them all matching and my "Iggy" switch panel is all carling too.

Just a thought, but my truck is a 4R, which has different sized switches than the taco, and the carling, AOB and OEM are all the same size in my truck, so the 4R specific ones might fit both the stock clearanced and Iggy spots.

Oh, awesome. I will look into that. For some reason, I thought all of those AOB switches were smaller.

I decided to clean my air filter today and it looks like it's doing a good job of keeping crap out of the engine.

The inside of the filter was spotless:

I also cleaned up my coilovers and rear shocks. The coilover shock bodies are getting a light coat of Corrosion X and the rear shock bodies are get waxed. I want to see which works better. ADS has a really good coating on the shock bodies which oil doesn't stick too good on, so the coating is really thin. Alum resis just get waxed.

Yes, Volant. I'm sure you know, but the air injection gets mounted on the Volant "air box" thingy. The reason I got the intake was so I could just use the front opening on the air box instead of it pulling air from the fender. After I removed my fender liners I needed it to suck air from somewhere safer.

I finally ordered some intake stuff to route a hose from my intake to the front of the engine bay, where it can suck cooler air. I've had my intake sucking warm air for over a year. :anonymous:

I'll route the intake to the area right beside the passenger headlight.

Thanks, but I really don't think my truck will ever be getting a snorkle.

Finally decided to do something about my intake that I had sucking warm air from the engine bay. I routed the flexible air line to right behind the headlight where it can get some fresh air.

I decided to invest in a 1/2" cordless impact gun capable of taking off that big cv axle nut on the trail. I have spares i bring with me, but what good is that if you can't swap it out on the trail. It's a Dewalt DCF899, 700 ftlb of fastening and 1200 ftlbs breakaway torque. Should be more than enough for anything on my truck.
