I'm working with aftermarket TC cam tab gussets and some washers fit tight in between the tabs and some have a gap bwteeen the cam and the wall on each side - how should the cam washers fit in between the two tab walls? Should there be a gap or not? I'm putting my front end together not aligning it until tomorrow a short drive away.

I dressed the cam tab walls - they had some channels and burs from the last alignment. I think I answered my own question - the bolts and washers can complete a full turn in between the walls smoothly. I'm guessing twisting the bolt so that one washer is using the inboard wall and the other is using the outboard wall would compensate for any gaps between the walls and the cam washers. Still like to hear any info. Thank you!
