Sweet. Can't wait to see the pics. I'm probably a month out from ordering these.

Was literally thinking about getting a set when I have some free time. Post back on how they ride compared to stock.

Tires just arrived at Costco this afternoon. Plan on having them put on Friday morning, will update with photos once they're on.

Costco agreed to put non-stock size on for you? My local Costco will only sale stock size which is bs

Are you still on stock OR wheels and no spacers? If so, let me know how these work out. Shouldn't be any rubbing but you never know.

Yes, I spoke with the manager of the tire center at my local Costco and he agreed to put them on since they are only 1 size wider (10 mm or .39 inch) and just .55 of an inch taller than stock. And yes, I'm still on stock OR wheels with no spacers. Based on my measurements and reading what others have posted, they should fit without any rubbing issues. They will be closer to UCA but shouldn't rub. As many others have said, I like the idea of this size because it's only slightly bigger than stock and they're Load Range D tires as opposed to most other KO2's that are Load Range E. I'll post an update once they're on the truck.

Got the KO2's installed today in 275/70/16, now feel that this is the perfect size tire for this truck. No rubbing whatsoever and still plenty of clearance at full lock. Now obviously these tires are much heavier than stock tires (by about 15 lbs per tire), but I am glad that this size is a Load Range D instead of the LRE that most KO2's are. After driving it around this afternoon on the new tires, the only noticeable difference is that the steering feels a bit heavier than before. Ride doesn't seem to have changed that much, nor can I tell a noticeable difference in power or acceleration. Time will tell if my mileage goes down, but I think that it goes without saying that it will drop some just due to the added mass of the heavier tires.

Huh. I didn't think they were that much heavier than the stock KO2s. I've been down the 20lbs more per tire road before and it definitely changes everything.

By any chance were you able to weigh them before and after? I'm guessing that's probably a "no"...

Oh my bad. I thought he had a Baja or Pro. I clearly read the profile too quickly. The stock tires on my truck (Baja) are the KO2s.

It's now been 3 months, whats the verdict? My stock tires will be due to swap before the snow flies, trying to decide if this is a good move for me. Like the look, the size, and the BFG KO's but have really like the 20+ mpg's of my Tacoma vs. Tundra.

Hey @foglemeister how are you liking the 275/70s? Still now rubbing? And how has your mileage been?

Still love these tires, no rubbing, only lost about 1 mpg versus the stock Goodyears. I average 18-19 mpg now whereas I was getting about 20 before. I run them at 40 psi cold, nitrogen filled so the pressure doesn’t vary much whether cold or warm. Mostly highway driving...

foglemeister, I know this post is really old now but with more miles on them...and years, how do you like these tires. Also, how close do these tires come to rubbing the control arm?
