Hey guys I've come a long way since posting here last. As of now I have a newer 2.0 version for the 2nd gen D.C. Fronts are 22" and rears are 17". All 16 gauge aluminum, laser cut, machine formed and powder coated carbide texture black.

Just last week I released a new version for the 3rd gen DC Tacoma in the same 22" fronts and 17" rears. The difference is a deeper deck as Toyota seemed to make the sill deck a bit deeper from the 2nd gen.

Here's a product shot of one front and one rear in carbide texture black diamond plate and carbide texture black Smooth finish for the 3rd gen Double Cab.

OEMs on my 08 RC are plastic, not a thin vinyl sticker and they do wrap over the edge of door sill.............

yes, the instructions should have been to wrap them over the edge. Where they do install it, its worthless

Nope, ones that were on it when I got it...........my 05 had the thin vinyl stickers that didn't go over the edge but the 08 already had thicker plastic that does go over edge. I went to look into getting these metal ones and found I already had something different than on the 05. I'll go shoot a pic of them in a minute since I don't has pic where they are visible...............

Here's a few pics of what was on the truck when I got it. These are definitely different than what came on the 05 AC. Did passenger side shots because lighting better in parking garage on that side..................

As you can see, the styling and pattern match the gray pieces so I do believe these to be factory piece. Also, clearly, they wrap over the edge of the sill unlike the textured vinyl stickers.

If anyone is on the fence about these, pull the trigger. I have had these G-Teks on my truck for a year and a half and they are awesome. Muddy boots and two 80 lb dogs have not managed to scratch them yet, they look like new.

Mine get no play since I step into WT in the cab. Feet never touch that area on mine. That's why I just kept the ones I have. (guess I need to lift the truck some more)

Yea, same with mine. Mine still look new. I just step inside and my feet never touch the door sill.

There must be a lot of short people on this forum.
