Ive had a very small coolant leak for a long time, I may refill the reservoir once a year maybe longer, when I ran across this hose leaking while changing my serpentine belt yesterday. It had a small cut in it about a half inch from where it clamps. I just cut the small section off and clamped it back on for the time being since there was plenty of slack on the hose. I coulnt tell where this line led to. Any input?

Listed as Water By-Pass hose #1. Don't see where it ends up in this diagram though.
It looks to me it attaches to the intake, so water jacket bypass? Intake cooler/preheater?

Yep, I looked at that same diagram and saw it but didnt see where it went either. I could just tell that it went into the valley but couldnt see much else because of the intake plenum. Im not worried about it since its fixed now, just got me curious about it.

You can see the port, in the left of the valley. Passenger head. I have more pictures as well.

It is an M1-209. Larger. More media surface area, and a little more oil capacity, to help keep oil temps down. Here is the more crisp picture.

Off topic. Any 95 Ford Taurus V6 filter will work. 209 is the same filter.

No kidding? There were 3 V6's in 95 though. I had the Yamaha SHO motor. I remember having trouble finding the filter in stock, curious.

Even the SHO. All Ford V6 in 95 had the same filter.
