Im just wondering if any of you have ever been Wheeling up there. I have a 2017 dcsb or and I spent the day on the trails. My wife and I were thinking about heading to Marblehead tomorrow, bit it looks like it might be more than the truck can handle. Any input would be appreciated. TIA

I have been up there probably a dozen times. The wheeling is great. Your truck will do fine, but your going to have to be a bit hard on it to get it through some areas. A lot of deep deep jeep on boggers holes. You have to find a way around some of them. Pic is one of the deep holes in my old frontier on Drummond island out towards Marblehead.

I went through quite a bit of rough stuff today. My major concern was the steps on the way to Marblehead. Looks pretty intimidating in pictures

Yeah the steps are rough. You will scrape for sure. Just check it out by walking it first. Heading down the left side is easiest. Neither side is easy to get up unless you have a lot of clearance.

We are rained out. We are planning to come back next month, then I'll have bigger tires and I'm putting Kings on. Should give me a lot more clearance. On this trip I smacked my hitch receiver and put a pretty good dent in it. I think next time I'll take that off. Is it just the four bolts that are visible?

That looks like salt water. Is that salt water?

No, Drummond Island is on lake Huron at the East end of the upper peninsula in Michigan. It's probably just churned up a lot from trucks driving through it.

Nice! I will be taking my new Tacoma up there in a few weeks. Glad to know yours did pretty well stock. Not sure on the receiver though.

It got a little hairy a couple of times. Just had to be careful in some of those big water holes, not sure what's hiding in there. It's a lot better when there is someone in front of you. I was leading the pack though, with three wranglers behind me. They were all pretty impressed as well.
