sounds like you have to much travel. Need to limit more. Take the axle out and check it out. Might be fine. Could just need a new boot and grease. Building LT axles sucks. Ive built 5. I got my cvs used on ebay and built the axles myself with new shafts. If you arnt as handy as me you can try cvj. Ive only heard good things about them.

First thing is I have had terrible luck with SDHQ boots. I've installed 4 and all 4 ripped within 2 trips. I'd highly suggest getting oem boots from camelback Toyota on the forum and place them so the fins don't touch. As far as finding a cv axle I have bought all mine off ebay for about 60 bucks from salvaged yards.

Hello everyone, sorry for the late response I've been busy with work and all kinds of other shit, kinda stopped me from getting to the truck. Anyway I was able to dig into it, I put the ecgs bushing in (waaaay smoother and practically zero play in the driver side CV shaft, I would highly recommend it to anyone with a lift or LT 4x4) After pulling everything apart it looks like the cv is ok but the inner cup and the shaft both have scarring where they made contact under droop. Also when the truck is up on jacks you cannot turn the driver side wheel freely the cv binds.

So it looks like exactly the problem @glorifiedwelder had with his 4 Wheel Parts camburg installed kit. The limit staps are almost full strech at ride height, tabs were welded in so you cant adjust, and there is too much spring preload. I measured a 16" spring and it came in at 12". So here's my solution: cut out old tabs and install adjustable clevis strap mounts to bring droop within spec. Second I'll take some preload out of my coliovers. Thanks for all the responses guys, let me know if I'm heading in the right direction!
