    1999 Tacoma 4x4 V6 325,000+ miles

    Hello TacomaWorld,

    Just like the title says, I'm here in Central Texas rolling around in a 1999 Toyota Tacoma SR5 6 cyl 4x4 with 330000+ miles on it. And it still drives like a champ. The only thing that doesn't work on my truck is the Med-High setting on the AC.

    Three years ago, I was searching for a pre-Tacoma era toyota truck with the extended cab. I wanted to lower it and make it fast. My wife came across a 1999 Tacoma for sale on Ft Hood. He wanted $4500 but my wife negotiated $3800 and I bought it. I have no regrets. Everything is stock except the radio. I didn't need to do anything to it. Of course I want to lift it a little and put larger tires on it. Nothing too crazy. Maybe a few other mods. That's why I'm here.
