Haven't played in weeks.
Been playing SimCity Buildit.

 

Me and my wife haven't played for about a month and to be honest neither of us have missed it at all. It was really just starting to feel like a chore at the end rather than something fun. Maybe if Gen3 or legendaries pop up while give it a go again.

The gym rework does look kind of cool, but not really enough to start playing again.

 

Did some raids today. It actually was cool, and the update got a ton of people out and playing again. We did a level 4 which was a tyranitar and 14 people showed up to do the raid. It ran away from me though

We went to some others but none of them peaked our interest so we didn't raid. But each one we stopped at had anywhere from 5-10 people waiting to team up

 

Went back out on some raids today. Did another Tyranitar and caught it this time

Still a ton of people out meeting up at them and the Facebook group for my area has been blowing up all weekend. I'd say the update was good at getting players back in, but I can see it fizzling out really quick. The legendary birds should be introduced for the anniversary though around the 4th...

 

Took over a gym for 9 mins this mornin but had 9 victories all by my lonesome in the 9 mins. What is up with kids being up at 7 am?

and if its just picachu in a flat bill why is it blacked out in near by since i already have one?

That's the 1 year anny event pikachu. I caught enough to evolve a Raichu with the hat too. If you get lucky you can hatch a Pichu with one too. Haven't gotten that one yet. They are out until the 24th

It took over a year but this m'fer finally came to visit (literally at my house) to complete my gen 1 dex

 

I had a 36000 articuno on a gym this week but there was noone else there to help so it was all in vain... I get to 198 or 200 today due to a double double xp mass evolve that got me to ... Lvl 27

 

I hit level 32 on Monday after a mass evolve. I thought the event was ending so I rushed one. If I'd known it was going until today I would've planned better. It was a good event though. I hatched my first porygon, caught my first hitmonchan, and hatched 4 Chansey's with enough candy to evolve 2 Blissey's...oh and I caught a shiney Karp and evolved a Red Dragon

And I caught both legendary birds. Saving coin now for when Moltres comes next week

 

Went 4 for 4 on Moltres raids before I broke the streak tonight . My lady went 0-4 and caught her first tonight. I guess the winds turned. She is valor too and was ready to quit if she wasn't able to catch her mascot

Now I'm worried I won't get any Zapados when he comes out next week

Still only have 1 Lugia but it's so hard to get enough people together to do that raid while the limited time birds are aroundt. I ended up with 3 Articuno last week, 1 with 100% IV too

No... I made it right at a year of play time (well chronologically somce the first 4 months no one really played cuz niantics) i was at like 100 or so of the original 151 when 2nd gen dropped and that dampened spirits but i pushed on for a few more months but i never caught the raids when anyone else was there and i just gave up

 

There is a gen 1 event going on right now where basically only that is spawning. They introduced Mew but you have to complete a ton of tasks to get it and one is basically complete the gen 1 dex and people complained so they did this event. Gen 2 and gen 3 are both now in the game so it’s pretty jumbled trying to get them all now. I have all gen 1 and majority of gen 2 but am missing a fair amount of gen 3 still. There are still a fair amount of players in my area and I spent the past week at Disney world and there seemed to be a constant flow of players as gyms were continuously turning over all day. I caught a Corsola and some Heracrosses which are both regional to south Florida so that was a nice bonus to the trip...

Raids are lame. I got tired of them. They have a new daily “stamp” you can get and once you get 6 you get a legendary to spawn that basically have a 100% catch rate. It is currently Moltres (which was the first legendary in a raid) so the theory is it will switch to the next in order that they appeared in raids. Hope that’s true because I quit raiding and missed the last 5 or so legendaries
