all of mine measured exactly the same distance on both sides( i made sure before drilling) just gotta make sure the drilled out weather strip is upside down on top when tracing onto the other strip.

an like PDX_cray said it's up to u if u wanna built in on the truck or not.

i chose to build it on the ground just for a better chance of not scratching my truck and being easier for me.
then just had a friend come over to lift it on

thanks, can't wait to finish installing the boxes of stuff in my garage along with the level 8 wheels and new tires.

gotta get the lift and uca's installed first before new wheels.
    just never have time.

    and yes i love MGM!

had a choice of blk, mgm, white and inferno. liked mgm the most

Well worth it. Especially with the app that allows the remote independent control!

What length did you order? (I know this is terribly lazy, I could just go measure my truck but it's all the way down in the garage)

Think I got a 60"x6" roll. Covered from ditch to ditch and had some leftover. That reminds me I need to use that left over for my door handle wells.

Anyone else get crazy vibrations when crosswinds hit and you are traveling at around 65-70 mph? It vibrated the roof so bad my mirror moves down. I think I'm doing something wrong haha, any help is appreciated!

Yes I had the same thing. For me it was my wind deflector vibrating, after I moved it down so it touches the roof I don't get the vibrations anymore.

When it's vibrating stick your hand out the window and push on the deflector and I bet it'll stop.

Is your wind deflector on the lowest setting?

I'm not sure what else I could do to prevent this haha, but thank you both for your help!

I dont have my rack yet, but I think maybe you could slide it back just slightly so the deflector was closer to the cab?
