Hey guys! I've been thinking about getting some new coil overs for the front. Right now I have OME sport shocks with 881 springs. I put the lift on before adding the tube bumper and winch and now they seem to be sagging a little(obviously). I also have a full dakar leaf spring pack out back with the add a leaf. Looking to find a shock that will have a better spring rating for the front and give me a more level 3 inch lift, possibly one that is adjustable. I've been looking at Bilsteins with the Eibach 650lb coils and some Kings with the 700lbs. I'm open to suggestions but would like to stay under $1000. Thanks!

If you are staying under $1000, go with Bilstein.

You won't be able to get King's at that price...not new of course.

You will also need aftermarket UCA's if you are going up to 3"

They have Kings on Wheelers.com for $989. I'm just not sure if Kings have a true 3 inch lift. Also this is going on a first gen.

Ahh yes...those are the Internal reservoir. You have an 2003

I was thinking of the 05+ Coilovers that come with a Remote reservoir.

We can get you a deal on Kings too! ;)

Ahhh, I might be interested in that! Do you have any idea if the Kings i'm looking at would be 3 inches or do you think I should go with the billys?

If you are really set on 3", it is not recommended that you preload your Coilovers over 2".

This will put your CV angles, upper arm angles etc...all out of whack!

So would 2.5 or 2 inch be good with some aftermarket UCAs?

So if you were in my shoes what coilovers would you recommend? Under $1000, approximately 2-2.5 inch lift, good spring rate for a V6, tube bumper, and winch? I know UCAs are going to be extra.

I would go with the King 2.5's and have the springs swapped out to a 650...maybe 700

PM me and i'll get you pricing!

Icon, Fox Or King would definitely be worth the extra $200 if you don't need to do it right away.
