Sorry to hear that man. Condolences to you and your family. Also lost my mom to cancer quickly, and like you said, it was mercy.

On that lighter note, Expo = Expedition. Expedition Portal had those oval stickers (like "GB" for Gambia... or possibly Great Britain) that read "Expo". Then it turned into a thing...

What was wrong with your rear diff dude?

Hey you should hold off on replacing the uniballs until I can get some real world feedback on those Icon Delta Joints. People are starting to use them and if they pan out well, it is only a matter of time until they release them as retrofits for other brand UCA's like yours and mine also. Mine are squeaking to hell but that's nothing a little spray won't temporarily cure. For a year at most until they release their non proprietary joints.

I always get lost at Icon also, but their uniball/ ball joint hybrid seems to look really well thought out so I'm willing to entertain that until I am informed differently. I'm tired of hearing squeaky mcsqueakin' ALL the time. I want to just hear the blower whine and that's it. Lol.

    Check my build.

Solid pass on anything Icon related. My Camburg uniballs are just starting to get a little pitting and rust due to me not cleaning them off enough. Ordering replacements, will probably take about 30 minutes a side or so to replace.
Honestly Uniballs wouldn't creak if everyone kept them clean constantly and threw some dry lube in there occasionally. I had mine all cleaned up and lubed, creaks and squeaks gone, got to hollister and got behind a group of crawlers kicking up dust, truck immediately started squeaking.

I frequently lube my 4 uniballs and my 8 bushings. The front of my truck still squeaks like a mofo. It is what it is. Also know what you mean about diff noises. Mine had a hum for 6 months before it blew and now its so quiet. I only have noise now from my exhaust, tires, roof rack, gear, fridge, and balls. so still pretty loud.

Long shot, but does anyone have any All Pro +2 axles handy? Apparently they have a 5 day handling time and that will severely harsh my mellow on the planned install next weekend. I ordered yesterday morning and they wont even ship until next Thursday (maybe).

I will gladly hand you my axles once they arrive in turn for your axles today.
