I wanted the curved bar look but didn't want a curved bar. I also wanted to incorporate the cab top style running lights look without drilling into the cab. This is what I came up with. IMG_20170305_183422792.jpg

welp, gonna be ordering two of these 20" before too long, and they'll be roof mounted. Anxious to see what I come up with for joining the two together in the middle. lol. Any ideas? I've got a few myself already but, wanna hear from others what might work. Will be using the end caps for mounting and not the bottom mounts..

Yeah. That's why I put the '~' in there;)
Lumens means almost nothing though. I see all these light bars that put out 50k+ lumens but the effective lumens has to be half that. And the spread probably sucks. I prefer a crap ton of effective spread, along with good distance. And these do just that with the optics they use.

Here's a snip of the real version.
    Screenshot_2017-05-10-15-15-20.jpg
Sounds about right. My 42" is about the same as one of these. So I should get double the output and spread with two. Plus over 5x cheaper. I actually ordered them the other day. Ha. $314 for two...
Wish me luck. Might be a while before I can get them mounted tho.

holy crap thats an expensive 20in light bar. Tho, that 20k raw lumen makes my rigid 8800 lumen sound like a candle lol

Ha yup. And I'm pretty sure that's the effective lumens actually. As the raw is more like the 24k.

    Scratch that. Vision x says
    raw is in fact 20,640
    20° is 11,503 effective lumens
    40° is 7,224 effective lumens

Seems kinda low to me. But makes sense with the optics they use. And makes me appreciate true values that have been tested, more than all these other companies (especially eBay sellers) that post raw lumens as a total value and try to make you think that it'll be brighter than top tier brands. Ha. And being mine are clones with crees, they're not gonna be AS effective as the real version. But still awesome. Can't complain at $314 for TWO, vs $1699 for one. Lol. I'm saving $3k bucks! Ha.

Although, I would LOVE to have the real deals.
$6k worth of vision x lights right here:

Welp, got both my 20" double rows in the mail yesterday. Decided to mount one on my new bumper as holes were predrilled and ready to go with my wiring from previous lights. Freaking awesome. I may just buy a 3rd one so I can leave this one here! Liking the look!

Moar pics with output shots and comparisons of the 42" single row vs 20" double row here.

Now to just figure out how to join the two together in the middle via the end caps. I think I can make a bracket of some sort. The end caps have 3 threaded holes so shouldn't be too hard.
