    hmm I do have emissions every 2 years .. just did it least week. I just have a set of newer headers for a 99-04 3.4L with no EGR hookup.. Would all I need to do is weld a EGR hookup an be all good then.?

    Seems most people make a block off plate and bolt it in in place of the gasket. There is also some sort of resistor that needs to go in so that you wont get a CEL. I am not sure on what kind of resistor is needed. Would have to research that.

    I also know that LCE Engineering makes a block off plate if you don't want to make your own.

    If you can trick the ecm then block it off. If not weld a fitting into the header.
