Truck is a 2002 DCSB PreRunner. Lift is 5100's with OME 882 Coils with Deaver AAL in the rear and maxtrac shackles.

The rear rides fine. The front however, has absolutely no down travel. I can hear and feel thumping when going over a speed bump SLOWLY. I mean 5mph. So my question is, what can I replace to give me down travel back?

Arent 882s meant for use with armor and winch? Go to a lighter spring.

I'm planning on bumpers and a winch. Would that kill my travel though?

Yeah, if the springs are meant to be used with all the extra weight, they will limit the down travel when there isnt the weight to compress them.

Alright, any idea what the thump noise/feeling could be? Overextending the shocks maybe?

It may be the shocks since the heavy springs are probably holding them at/near full extension. I dont know what type of internal limiter is in the 5100s. But, replace the coils with some lighter ones or get the mods done, youll get some travel back.

Will do! Bumpers are too expensive right now so I'll probably get some 881's and leave it at that for a while. I've been trying to find longer shocks too.

How are your 5100s set? If they are set on levels other than 0, drop it down to 0 and that should give you a little bit more travel (yes you will lose height). But if you are already at 0, see if anyone has some lighter springs you can get cheap and install them until you get armor & winch.
