    Shit! Your post scared me!

Your screen shot looked exactly like my page when I purchase. I'm thinking "when did I buy this today?" I already have one!

I have Amazon opened on another tab, they get lots of my money!

I have to be very careful when I open Amazon. I think there is like 700 bucks worth sitting in the shopping cart. Lol

It seems, in my opinion, that the price of the SCII should be going down. How long has the thing been on the market? Usually with electronics, the price drops drastically after the 1st year or so.

Which is why I went with UltraGauge, which is about 1/2 the price.

For those of us ignorant on the magic of this device why do I need it? Read posts here and there and hear about the benefit for monitoring trans temps but then also read you need to mod something to do this.

I already have a Bluereader OBDII reader but it doesn't do trans temp (at least at the moment anyway). So can someone give me the coles notes version of why I need this? I will be towing and would like to check trans temps specifically and the rest are bonus in my case. Thanks in advance guys and if you sway me my order will be happening tonight.

All my previous vehicles were Manual Transmission- this is my first AT vehicle, and I am interested in the AT temps for now.

My truck runs great, and I plan on keeping it for a very long time- like "this will be my last truck" long. $100 is a small investment for a peace of mind type thing.

    What the normal price usually?

Edit: I'm an Amazon junkie too and keep stuff in my cart for price drops.

Thanks for heads up OP. I'm gonna hold off, likely getting in on Switch Pros Group Buy.

Did a bunch of reading on the mfg website. Going to try it. Really only care about trans temps when towing and the owners manual makes it seem reasonably easy to program. Probably only going to have it mounted when I hook the trailer up but who knows.
