Yup, and no tools required. There are a few videos that show removing that part. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLqOYNA9p5I
You're not pulling the entire thing, so just watch the part where he pulls the shift console. It just pulls up. Drop me a line if you have questions, I've done it a bunch of times. I have a bright white LED in mine. Had to replace it a few times (cheap China ones, bad resistors in first batch).

While you have the covers off, knock out the 400w anytime mod, and tap the AC lines to add a socket in the cab. Easy little mods.

I've been trying to find a good tutorial on getting behind that part of the dash. Any suggestions? Seems like getting to the panel under the A/C controls is like opening a bank vault. Everything seems to be sealed up. Would love to do this mod.

I just tapped a screw into the blank and pulled it out. I knew I was going to be cutting up the blank to fit the outlet that I bought.

I love this mod, I can run my fast phone chargers on it, laptop, and have even run a crockpot.

Washed and waxed Elwood and cleaned the interior. Hit the hinges with a little spray on lithium grease.
