    I recently bought a new 17 Tacoma and since Friday have done the following.
    1. AVS in channel Ventshades
    2. Lund Bug Shield
    3. OCD console tray
    4. OCD console organizer
    5. Bought a used set of NFAB steps, sanded, primed, and bedlinered (made up word) them
    Next on the list is a better horn...and bed lights for under the tonneau, probably going to mount under the rail system and put a switch at the tailgate

    Mine got better about 7K miles. I average about 18 to 19 combination town and highway. Just highway 20 to 21. 17 TRD Pro.

    I went from around 17 to around 19 even with larger tires. I don't know if it was time/miles or just learned how to use this new 6 speed auto?

    (TruXedo Lo Pro) TruXedo told me that also. If you close your tailgate last the rubber seal folds in on the inside of your tailgate thus water will get past the seal. If you close the tailgate 1st then latch the Lo Pro down the rubber seal is laying on top of the tailgate cap thus keeping water out.

    Access cab remorse, and slimming down house hold debt, it was only a lease but overall we really didn't need it.

    I was also afraid to offroad it after seeing a few tacomas roll through my shop with swamped engines. (we have lots of water crossings on our trails up here)
