There are a lot of pros and cons, mostly pros.
Parts are usually cheaper and easy to find, and its and depending the condition and going price, usually more guilt free beating it up.
Old school cool never gets old.

    That's boring...

But really it's because it doesn't have AC. That shit would be miserable out there. Also, no parking brake, no power steering, and questionable reliability. I'd trailer it out for sure if I came.

Only parts problem i'm seeing so far is finding some non-retrofit headlights... like these Spyder ones everyone and their mom has:
He wants to upgrade his lighting badly... glass headlights with a hole in 'em, poor light output. Don't want to mess with the fogs since a bumper will be coming eventually.

All I can find are retro services (too expensive for him) or just basic ass housings.

Much appreciated there, I would not have considered that. Will probably need to find some straps.

Probably true... considering attempting to build some fancy retros but wouldn't know where to start, not my cup of tea haha.

Hmmmm. I suppose that is one way to save drive time.

    May consider this.
