I recently install a full OME lift with 887 coils in the front and an OME 3-leaf AAL in the rear. There's still a little bit of rake in the front which I could probably live with but I'm curious if I could get a little more lift by adding a spacer? Would it through my cv axle angles way out of whack? I'm running 285/70/17 Cooper ST Maxxs and get a little fender rub when turning or if I have a few people in the truck. Curious as to what you guys have done/experienced?

    Anyone seen my wallet?
Rubbing will happen with 285s. See where its rubbing and trim.

Are you talkng about a spacer up front or rear to level it out? 887s on a 4x4 dclb should be just shy of a 3 inch lift, im surprised its not level already.

For your cv angles, what you are trying to avoid are the ribs touching. If the cv boot ribs touch, they will wear down with the constant turning then develop leaks. If they arent touching, your fine.

I was hoping to avoid trimming and definitely don't want to do a cab mount chop.
I am talking about a spacer up front. I did leave the overload leaf on with the new AAL.
FYI, this lift replaced a shitty spacer and block lift so I had no base measurements to go off of.
So theoretically, the axle angle isn't much of a factor as long as the ribs of the boot aren't running each other?

    No.

You should already have upper control arms at 3" of lift. Adding even more lift will be bad for a lot of parts at this point.

    Option 1
Lower the rear and/or start trimming.

    Option 2
Leave it as is and deal with it

I did indeed install light racing UCAs with the lift.
