It was enough for Toyota to issue a CPS recall of 32,000 vehicles.

Recalls don't mean that they have failed and are leaving people Shit out of luck on the roads.

When I was keeping track last summer, I counted at least 15 owners that posted on the forum relating their truck broke down because of the CPS issue. That was just owners that reported on the forum. That didn't account for other owners with the same issue that aren't forum savvy.

I actually stopped counting at 15 because I lost track after that.

I stopped counting all together because there is a Recall notice that was sent out to owners who could potentionally have a CPS issue for a FREE replacement, so ends the saga of the great CPS failure that has afflicted millions of 3rd GEN owners:rolleyes: now you can get on to your next false narrative story.

looks fucked. they could of just face lifted the front end off of the f150 and came out with a way better result than the ford explorers retarded brother that we have here.

False narrative? Apparently you weren't in the 3rd gen forums in the summer of last year to witness the weekly "CPS left me stranded" posts.

    http://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/future-cars/a31079/new-ford-bronco-ranger-details/

From the article: "The current-generation Ford Ranger is built in Thailand, South Africa, and Argentina, and sold in nearly every market around the world besides North America. But as Johnson confirmed, Ford plans to build a new Ranger in its Michigan Assembly Plant and sell it here again... a Ford designer... claimed the new Ranger will be a facelifted version of the foreign-market Ranger. ...Ranger will reportedly get new headlights, a new grille, and a new front fascia. The interior... will get a complete overhaul for the U.S. market."

So in summary the pictures being "leaked" are not representative of the new design.

Torquenews, Jalopnik, Shebudgets. There's a difference?

yes mostly all 3 of those people had the truck towed free of charge to the Dealership for a new free CPS sensor, end of story. When the new Ranger arrives we will see how many mechanical failures it has with the track record Ford has with reliability there could be billions of stranded motorists.

You are probably right, after the first 100k are out, folks will realize it's a first year model and it has its issues so folks will bitch and complain they didn't get their money's worth and it's a POS, so folks will stop buying them and go back to their f150s.
Or, ford will wait till it's a bigger problem and then recall, but folks will say that's a good thing cause they are trying to fix the issues.
Oh wait, no folks will freak out and get pissed off because they will take their trucks in before the dealerships have been equipped to fix the problems, sound familiar?
