First sentence of the article you posted "The cause is still unknown but a Clay City business was destroyed by fire Saturday afternoon."

"Clay City High School Ag Teacher Jamie Harvel had scheduled a porkburger fundraiser next Saturday to help send Macy Anderson and Clare Workman to the FFA Washington Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C.

The girls made the decision for the cookout to become a fundraiser for Dusty and Lyndi Thompson. It will also be a bake sale."

OP @Scooter62 where in the original story did it blame the cause on the GM truck?

    It literally happens.

We had a neighbor burn his shop and 2 neighboring shops down, and both neighbors went out of business, as did he.

Because linseed oil soaked rag spontaneously combusted.

Rag manufacturers still haven't remedied this issue.

I guess I missed this because I was combing through the article to actually READ what was written instead of relying on your word of mouth that a 2017 Chebby burnt down this guys shop. Sorry for trying to gather FACTS.

PS I am not trying to be rude, I am just trying to understand your post more accurately.

I have never heard of a Tacoma catching fire, oh wait, I will see your 1 Chevy article and raise you 1 Taco fire:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/brand-new-tacoma-on-fire.436699/

Bonus, a large fire recall for tacoma's:

    http://www.latimes.com/business/aut...690000-tacoma-trucks-fire-20140929-story.html

Did posting that link make you feel better about your purchase? Love how we have to take your "word" from the "family" of the "shop owner" that the truck is what caused it...

So does this mean "Evidently TOYOTA has not remedied there trucks catching on fire"?

Latest theory on the story from Alex Jones is that while the guy was cutting his grass, someone someone stole his Chebby and in it's place left a 2005 Tacoma that wasn't taken in for the fire recall work as indicated in Post #21 by amxguy1970
