That is clear coat failure. Not much you can do about it.

Sand blast it to get the remaining clear coat off. You MIGHT be able to polish it off if its flaking bad enough.

This is the solution I was thinking of. A heavy-cutting polish and a cloth wheel. Otherwise ya, sand blasting would definitely do the trick.

What's crazy is that these wheels are 2 years old and this shit is happening! The rest of the wheels look like this. How disappointing

That really sucks that they are flaking so quickly. Sandblasting is the way to go IMO

I contacted method and asked about their warranty, they stated that they have a 2 year warranty on their finish. So I gave 4wheelparts a call and talked to the manager Chris, turns out that I was month out on the warranty and he told me that he would get a hold of the vendor and get back to me. So I received a call today and he told me that method will honor the warranty. I'm really glad that they will be doing this for me. Instead of going with the same wheels I choosing to change the wheels and go with NV in bronze.

Wow, a whole new set of wheels! That's great customer service. I figured they would have just sent out a new set of beadlock rings.

I have those same wheels you had. The first set of Methods you posted. And my 2 year warranty will be up August 9th as in a week or 2. Only one of my wheels has some clear coat peeling off. But nothing like your wheels. I also bought them from 4wheelparts.com. Should I bother trying to get a new set before the warranty is up?
And as for a whole new set of wheels not just bead lock rings. That's because they're simulated bead lock rings.

Sorry, I didn't realize the bead locks were part of the wheel. I thought they were the bolt on bead lock rings like the TRD Bead Lock wheels use. That's how they are on my truck. Either way great customer service though!

Yeah. It's a quarter size spot on one wheel on part of the bead lock ring.
