Black. Get the kit from eBay that's linked in my thread. $50 for everything a man needs.
I still have that quick connect too

I'm all about Firestik II stuff..... That said, the Wilson 4" spring is slightly more flexible. May help antenna live longer.

@presta24 I'll bring stuff to camp, just in case I drink too many beverages or I feel up to it. Didn't plan on it since I need to mow grass and finish up the fuse bracket.
I got the metal work done, just need to grind down the corners and edges, drill holes, and paint

Find a good CB shop. Have them order a Firestik II "NGP" model. (3' or 4', color of your choice)

This is the No Ground Plane model. My little secret weapon.....

Full kit (antenna, mount, coax and spring retail price in $47.

That be the one you want.

There'll be Firestik, Firestik Firefly, then Firestik II. The last one being the BEST one. Tougher'n a $2 steak.

Got the ditch lights "rigged" for tomorrow. Need to adjust them a bit. Honestly thought they would be a bit brighter. But they definitely help!

Well, had a good day trip to RRG. After getting to several points where we had to turn around we ended up on a pretty sweet trial. Lots of obstacles. Wheeled 30mi today! @dirty deeds was the only one to make it out unscathed.

Me- dented tail gate, knocked the front left tire out of alignment.
@mwc273 unfortunately I feel he got it the worst. Flooded the driver side of is truck up the the seats
@NKYTaco dented tailgate, we both backed up in the same spot to turn around and backed into a tree. It was growing out of the mountain side at an angle. So hit tailgate before bumper.
@i35it ripped off the black bumper cover thingy on his runner.

@Bluegrass Taco saw you asking if we were back yet.
