Crown, have you been to RP? First time was in 98 freshman year spring break... never looked back. Love Mexico for all it's worth. I go way too much. Lots of solo trips with my kayak to go fishing just so happened that this trip I had the yak and nowhere to place it for a minute while I did a "test run". Hadn't hit the dirt after I installed the kit and didnt have anywhere to put the fishing kayak for a minute to take a test run as I was staying in a hotel so wtf just went for it. I had to stop to hook the YAK back up but the kit felt niiiiiiiiiice! I can only imagine without the yak back there.... I hit the woops outside of Cholla Bay and the front end was plush... back end hit the bump stop on the last set at the end and kicked the back end a little which made me realize that I absolutely have to do the rear end now...

BRO! How long have you lived in Phoenix? It's almost a right of passage for a Phoenician! It's real similar to San Felipe to my understanding (never been to Baja) but I've been all over Sonora. Very similar, Sonoran desert meets the ocean. Very sandy so it's more forgiving on the truck. I love driving the truck in Rocky Point. It's honestly a blast! My buddy has a built linked Ranger and we're possibly trying to set up a Rocky Point trip to run the trucks... I think you'd love it man. The scenery is amazing... Nothing like the Sea of Cortez...

lol I was waiting for that water bottle to pop out of the kayak but the paddle went first. Nothing like a spontaneous skinny pedal stab. It'll be awesome to see the rear all done up and that kayak just floating over the bumps lol.

    :bikewhoops:

Should have just loosed the lca to spindle bolts...for my mid travel I had to completely remove them to get the coilovers in.

If you're getting an alignment anyway or are installing a kit it's pretty easy to do it like that. I put things together by just having the LCA's in loose, then the coilovers, then the spindle and used my bottle jack on the uniball / ball joint bolt to compress the springs enough to get the UCA bolt through the spindle if necessary.
