Morning! Only thing I want from Amazon doesn't look like it's on sale (yet at least). Been eyeing a Garmin Forerunner but don't want to drop $330 on it. Oh well, if not today, then probably Black Friday.

I don't get Prime day. Do I get a better deal on anything? Doesn't look like it. I already get free shipping with my Prime account.

It's a lot of stuff that you probably don't need. I saw a 20% off deal for Chemical Brothers cleaning products that I posted in the ask a detailers thread

They run a bunch of sales. I've got prime as well, and I don't go nuts for Prime day. If you've got an extensive wish list it might work out for you, because you'll get an alert if one of the items on your list goes on sale. :notsure:

Prime day is basically only like 2-5% more off than what you normally pay. If you do a comparison between the normal price you pay then the "prime day" price you only save a few bucks here and there.

If you put the Amazon product URL into https://camelcamelcamel.com/ it will show you the product pricing over its history on Amazon. It shows they really aren't great discounts, like you said.

Originally not Expo AF! Kinda Expo AF now...lame.
Hey guys, I happen to be in Middlebury and Ticonderoga for some work related stuff this week, might have Thursday free to explore. Mountains are not my usual view so really looking for some suggestions. The rental car is a Jeep GC w/ 4wd, not looking to get crazy, but don't mind a dirt road or scenic path.

You are right near the Appalacian Gap which is route 17 over the Green Mountains. It'a all paved but a fun drive and very nice views. You can also take the Lincoln Gap Road just to the south of that and it will be dirt at the top of the pass (called gaps in VT and notches in NH). If you don't mind a little hiking, both gaps will have the Appalacian trail at the top and get you to some amazing views in short time.

I've spent a lot of time on a sportbike in VT and we just spend all day riding up and down route 100 and 7, criss crossing the ridge of the Green Mtns. to ride the gaps. Brandon Gap, Middlebury Gap, Lincoln Gap, App Gap...

If it's a real nice day it's fun to stop at the hairpin turn on the App Gap and watch motorcycles struggle and bounce off the gaurdrail with that off camber hairpin. There is a picnic table you can sit at which has a great view of the incompetent fools. Every once in a while you get a skilled rider to come through at more than 15 mph. We usually pick up a lunch sandwich at the Warren Country Store and head up there. The picnic table and hairpin is about a 10th of a mile from the top parking lot on the West side of the ridge. I've often times ridden my motorcycle the 2-1/2 hours there just to ride that 3 miles of road back and forth.
