I plan on lifting my tacoma, but I'm unsure of what coils I should buy. My plan is to lift the front 2" and lift the rear 1.75". I've heard that if you want to go more than 2" you should get new upper control arms to ensure you can align it properly, so I'm staying away from going any higher than 2". The problem is that I can't find any coils that give me a 2" lift with 5100 coil overs.

    My parts list:
    Front Bilstein 5100 #24-239370
    Rear Bilstein 5100 #24-186728
ICON 1.75 5 pack leaf springs that I found on craigslist (don't know the part number)
    Coils? I am unsure??.....

I want to have similar to stock rake, possible only 1.5 or 1.75" rake compared to the assumed stock 2"

Another thing I've read is that the 5100's work best with progressive coils compared to standard coils.

Currently my Canadian 2010 DCLB Tacoma TRD sport has the stock 4 pack leaf springs. Measuring from the hub to the fender, the driver side is one inch higher in both front and rear than the passenger side. The rear sits up about 1 7/8" to 2" higher than the front.

    Plz halp.

OME 884's would probably be close to 2" higher.

Thanks guys, you were very helpful. I'm going to buy OME 884s and the rest of my components from HeadStrongOffroad because their prices are pretty good.

Does anybody think I'm going to need to get anything else? Upper control arms? Brake line extension? Drive line drop? I have never lifted a vehicle before, so my knowledge is shallow.

Headstrong and Marie are the best, customer service price and of course the right parts.

No new UCAs are necessary lifting it 2". Mary will definitely take care of you. I think going with 5100'sand 884 up front with a AAl in the rear. Or I think you can run a 3rd gen TRD O.R susp and get close to what you are looking for. @bigfoote13 I believe was selling

It was black with yellow stripes and around 3-4' long. What type do you think it is (all I know is I treat every snake like a rattler :quickdraw:).

Alrighty, I ordered 5100's front and rear, OME 884 coils, and a 1/4" spacer to account for the taco lean. I am also buying the 1.75" ICON leaf springs this weekend. My lift should be +2" in the front and +1.75" in the rear. I'll get a picture when it's done. Thank you guys for the help. It's greatly appreciated.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but here is my truck with the suspension that you guys recommended and I also did a 2.5gen face-lift to it. I also swapped the steering wheel for the 2.5g as well.
