    Its a hack job of a satoshi that is painted with herculiner. Its pretty beat up, and i didnt do a great job on it. But if anyone is interested in doing a satoshi, i have one of the frames that one of the members sold on here a while back. It screws into the back of the grille, and the mesh attaches to that. So you dont have to do the zip tie method. I was just gonna put the el cheapo grille on, toss the other one, and keep the toyota trucks emblem. Cause i like it. If anyone wants it and would like to keep it out of the trash ill let you know when it comes off. Not a great pic but thats what it looks like.

    Do any of y'all have clean looking mounts for your CB mic? I ordered the CB, just trying to make sure I have everything to do the install

    One comes with it. But you might need to drill into something to mount it. Which one did you get? Do you have a mount for your antenna? Where are you putting it?

    You will need the cb, a coax cable, an antenna, a spring, and a mount

    I ordered all that. I'm mounting the antenna on the top hole of my bedside reinforcements. It comes with a clip for the mic but I know for a lot of vehicles they have nice plates that mount behind the dash and stick out so you don't actually have to drill into anything and it looks cleaner. My buddy has one on his Jeep and I was wondering if anybody had one for it tacoma?

    There is a rubber gasket under the drivers seat. I cut a hole in that, fed the wire through, and then siliconed it. My antenna is in the back. Ran the wire along the frame

    @TacoCat, that's a pretty nice bumper ;)

    and correct me if I'm wrong.... youre getting rid of the herculiner grill but keeping the Toyota Truck emblem??? I'd be down to just trade grills with you if you want a stock one? (it's the factory chrome one)

    only pic I have

    I ordered the Midland 75-822.... as someone who has actually been stranded on the top of a mountain in sub freezing temps when Off-Roading, I wanted something that can mount in my truck and accept an external antenna but be compact enough to stow when not in use. I also want something that I can remove from the truck and clip to my belt if I decide to head out on foot.... life saver.

I know timing wouldn't be right for you with this gig you got, but Im sure you would have fun! Unfortunately Im getting up with some other taco guys that weekend as well so Im going to be out as well.

    It sucks... if I still had the 3rd gen, I'd go.... but I'm not gonna be ready to hit anything other than Peter's Mill until probably the end of summer. :(

    Kinda bummed, but it is what it is I guess
