I have an ARB Air compressor and have looked into see Offroad's mount for the Tacoma. That being said I feel like there has to be a more efficient and cost effective way to mount the compressor.I have already looked through the other OBA threads to no avail.Does anyone have any ideas?

What do you mean by more efficient and cost effective mounting?

I ask because I'm interested in buying one myself and figuring where is the best place to mount it. I see a lot of people mount it inside the engine bay.

There are quite a few people who mount their compressor either in the side cubby of the bed or underneath the bed where the spare tire would mount. (Edit: there is also space behind the back seats of a double cab to mount a compressor and small tank) Usually they tend to fabricate their own mounts and buy their own hardware for the install. So costs can vary, mostly up to what you decide to design and go with.
