    Look nice!

Are these still considered sliders, that bolt to the body rather than the frame?

They look good! Hope you don't intend to use them as a real slider though

Someone was mentioning you all sell the frame post kit separately. That would allow me to weld these to the frame if I wanted to go that route later on?

Its been done a few times. You can cut off the mounts for the body and weld on the frame supports. The weld on sliders actually come with those unwelded so the customer can set the angle to their liking.

Got my weld on sliders from AVID today. Brandon and crew were awesome. Highly recommended.

Thinking about picking these up. I have Nerf steps on right now, but is the avid sliders more better than Nerf steps bars?

Bolt or weld to frame are definitely stronger and can be used as a high lift point. Weld being the strongest obviously. The bolt to frame is a great option for those that dont intend on keeping the truck.

Yea, right EST. If you count tin can versus steel as being equal.

lolol I'm talking about the mounting points. These bolt to the cab, and if you bang them up off-road, the mounting points aren't meant to handle that type of abuse.

So the bolt on versio actually bolts to the frame, or the body? I'm not so sure seeing different replies

We have both versions, well actually 3 if you count weld ons.

    In a nutshell

Bolt to body: 400lb weight limit, basically step bars with the slider look.

Bolt to frame: using existing holes and plates to secure to it to frame.

Weld to frame: frame cleaned and welded.

Are the bolts on the same, there are only two options to choose from on the website, weld on or bolt-on (which I'd assume is the one the bolts to the running board location)
