I have the wide cornering pattern on my squadron Pros and I like that one. Great throw and wide pattern.

@DVexile said it well. I will add a little bit more info. Yes the S2 (Pro and Sport) in Wide Cornering would make great fog lights. The Wide Cornering pattern is a very smooth horizontal beam designed for poor weather conditions and near field lighting. These were designed with maximum performance in mind and are not street legal.

I like my squadron pros, unfortunately I can't use them for street driving because there extremely bright. Whats your personal opinion on running Squadron Sports on the street? I plan on moving my Pros up to hood/ditch area and pick up some Sports at the fogs.

I've had my sports in driving combo on for a couple weeks now and only run them on sparsely crowded streets after being flashed multiple times

Thanks! I'm wondering if the wide cornering lens would help any.

I run the Squadron Sports in a Wide Corning Amber lenses on my Pelfreybilt bumper, I use them during the daytime only but never at night on the road. Never had an issue with being flashed or anything. People notice me a lot more with them on.

Also run another pair as Ditch Lights in the same lens as well.

Since these are not street legal or DOT approved you're running a risk of blinding other drivers or receiving a citation from law enforcement. I personally would only run the Sports on the street if the conditions allow. The Sports are definitely more "street friendly" than the Pros but still provide at least 2-3x the usable light over OEM.

The wide cornering would eliminate the Spot optics found in our Driving/Combo. This does make it easier on the eyes when a vehicle is approaching.

Great still haven't placed my order and now I'm torn again between sport or pro. Mainly used in back country type roads and not with on coming traffic. Would be turned off if a vehicle is in the horizon.
Is there a side by side if the sport verses pro in amber ? That would help! Maybe i should get both lol.

Unfortunately we don't have any side by side shots in the Amber pattern. We do however offer a great 30 Day satisfaction guarantee if you'd like to try one or both first hand. The light just has to be in new condition to be eligible for a return w/o restocking fee. If there are any blemishes there is typically a restocking fee.

Here is a photo of the Squadron-R Pros in Amber Wide Cornering. As you cans the factory headlights are almost useless
