I scored a pair of these for $26 but no mounting hardware. Do you happen to have a list of the hardware you purchased?

These were back down to $223 this morning. Picked up a set while it lasted - free shipping on almost 100lbs is no joke.

Sorry I took a while to get back to you, truck was locked up at the dealer. :frusty:

The bolts you need are: 8mm diameter x 1.25mm thread pitch x 40mm length, class 8.8 steel.
Your going to need 12, along with 12 flat washers and 12 lock washers of the same 8 mm diameter

Dont use them as real sliders. I have and they have lasted 4 trips. Brackets are bent and tubes are dented to shit but no damage to the truck. I pulled them off to take it to the dealer for the recall plus I have real sliders ordered.

You beat 'em up pretty good man. I'd be nervous as hell to off-road with them.

Hahaha, wasn't really going to use them like that when I bought them. Figured i would take some dirt roads and what not, nothing serious. Unsure if I would like off easing or not. Turns out I do, so time for better upgrades. To bad I got a sr5 and not a or 4x4, but with the 4x4 comes more trouble for me I am afraid so I will limit myself. Lol

Loving mine as well! Although I do wish the step was a little lower, kinda makes it awkward to get into the truck a little bit.

You wouldn't happen to know how well the rocker panel mounting area is reinforced? Thanks in advance.

There is no torque spec noted in the install instructions for these bars so I looked online when I did my install and the OEM predator bars stated somewhere around 35ft lbs of torque. I ended up going a little higher.

The rockers have been strong enough thus far for me to stand on these bars several times to clean the windshield and I'm 245lbs.

Not up here in Wisconsin, after one winter, the road salt seizes everything.

No loctite for me. Though I did think about using a dab of anti-seize for easier future removal.

I filled in the stars with 2 tubes of JB Weld. I bought a roll of 4" wide, anti-slip tape with an adhesive backing. After covering the 4 top plates with the tape, I flipped the bars over and added the epoxy to each star. The next day, I re-applied the JB Weld in order to completely fill the stars. Only time will tell if this was a mistake, but for now I like the results.
