    Sounds great Jedi! I feel like I might have ran into you before on PSN...maybe D1 or Rocket League?

    I just joined TW! I'll do my best to add some pics very soon. I've been creeping and browsing the site for a few weeks now. I was considering trading in my 1st gen and buying a 2nd or 3rd but none of the dealers would offer me anything decent for my Taco so I decided to throw some money at it and fix it up for now. Just installed new front and back 5100s, front discs and pads, new spark plugs, and belts.

    I'm about to drive cross country from Denver, CO to Portland, ME and I'll be towing a U-Haul 5'x8' enclosed trailer. So I've been browsing towing threads and taking notes of advice that others have been given. I've already learned so much and have tons of new ideas about what I want for my current and next Taco! You guys are awesome!

    Welcome to TW :wave:

    5x8 probably won't be too bad. I used to tow a 6x10 Well Cargo with my 1st gen 4 banger and it would love some gas when I did. That trailer had a steel framing throughout and loaded with dive gear. It towed it fine though.

    Made an appointment in the morning to have my front (legal) window tint removed and drop it down to 5%. It's just too dang hot out here.

    It makes a huge difference. Plus it's nice when people can't look inside your vehicle. My rears are around 3%. And a 5% eyebrow on the windshield.

    Right now I'm just changing the front two out for darker. I have the titanium film on it all around and it's nice. But ceramic came out a few years back and it's even nicer, but more expensiveee. Maybe at some point I'll have them remove it all and go back with full ceramic film.

    Just don't cheap out on film quality. The cheap stuff turns purple/brown after a year or two and looks crappy af.

    @Sh3lbz :wave:

    You can see the silver now lol. It must have been the glare/position of the sun giving the illusion of MGM.

    Rears are at 2.5-3% and the front 2 windows pictured are at 5% now. It makes a significant difference. Since our rears are tinted glass and not a film, you can lay 5% film over it which drops it down to where I'm at.

    This is the side view. It's nice when people can't look in.

    Love the new tint job, my truck had it added on as a new option something Hendricks does. I actually don't mind it but do love the looks of a darker tint job. With that said it strains my eyes to see out these days.
