Well, listing my truck because I've decided I want to go back to school!

2016 TRD OR DC in MGM with just over 38,000 miles! Automatic Transmission/4x4/Tow Package.

Stock except for the following:

• Opt 7 LED Low Beams
• PIAA Ion Yellow Fogs
• Opt 7 6" LED Light Bar installed below grill w/ switch to cab
• Back-up Cam Anytime Mod
• Custom Car Grills Grill (I still have the stock grill w/o bezel)
• Blue Vinyl Tailgate Inserts
• Just recently replaced the Tacoma badges with Vinyl ones (I still have the originals but they are painted black and would need repainted)
• WeatherTech FloorLiners in Black
• Dash bezel has been painted blue (I like blue haha)
• Toyota Door Sill Protectors w/ blue inserts
• LED Interior Lights
• Salex Center Console Organizer and Tray

Truck has been well-kept, washed, and vacuumed regularly. Any of the blue accents could be easily changed or taken out (bezel would be the most difficult). Regular Maintenance and regular oil changes/tire rotations. I usually get between 20-21.5 MPG driving mixed city/highway.

Cons:

• Scratch on driver's headlight/panel right behind it from a bad run in with a Sonic Menu (it pissed me off - literally the only thing I've ever hit). It's fillable and I have the paint pens; I just never had the patience to do it. (I can post a picture of this as soon as I take one).
• The driver side trim on the rear door is a little scratched and partially missing color (I can take a picture of this, too. It's not very noticeable.)
• There are a few light scratches on the body.

Extras I could throw in for a little bit more money:

• Toolbox - Has working lock/keys and is painted in bed liner spray. It has a few chips.

Even though your truck has 40,000 miles, $30,750 is a good asking price.
KBB fair purchase price is $32,712.
I'm surprised you haven't sold it yet. Have you listed it on car gurus as a private seller? That should get you more bites in your area.

 

I haven't, but I was looking at some of those sites. I got a lot of super low offers within 4 days of posting on CL. All 27-29k and haven't had anything higher than that. Haven't had anyone come look at it in person either. (Started at 31,750). I'll give that a shot though!

 

Yes. Defiantly try listing it on car gurus as a private seller.
I agree that 27-29k is low ball offers. You can sell it to Carmax for that much. I really think you can get your asking price if you list it as a private seller on autotrader and car gurus since those sites get a lot of high traffic.
