    You can cut bicycle inner tubes in half. Take the springs apart and use the inner tubes inbetween the leafs. This helps with squeaking. just mu .02 cents

    Yeah there's a thread on it around here somewhere. I like the chevys because they are spaced apart so they spray out easily. The all pros I found if you pressure wash them regularly and apply spray grease when drooped so it gets in between them, they stay quiet.

    Although I never tried it on Tacoma springs I used a dry graphite paint from tractor supply when I built my "Rears up front" pack for my 4runner. It's used on farm equipment that has metal sliding parts. Seems to work well for me anyway on old rusty springs.e slide.jpg

    They also sell it at the autoparts store. It works well for loosening up 1st Gen sliding rear windows also. :D

    Edit: oh wait, the stuff I was referring to is just dry film lube, not paint.

    I'm glad you caught the difference because I didn't even think about that when I posted. This is a paint and I would not recommend anyone try to use it in the aerosol form with the leaves still on the truck. I meant it more as preventative measure if your worried a new leaf pack is going to squeak. They do make a paint on version that would probably work without removing the pack. I defiantly would not recommend it on your rear window:D

    Why would that matter? You don't have dogs. You have small horses. You could saddle them up and ride the horse trails with those things. If you broke down, you could harness them up and have them pull the Taco home. :rofl:

    I love dogs. I might be bringing my pup as well... He is great with other dogs as long as they don't bark aggressively or lunge at him. If your pups are friendly it would be no issues!!

    My boy is 80 pounds and friendly as can be. Very well trained. Has been socialized a bunch and loves to play with other dogs. He just doesn't take any aggressive behavior towards him very well.

    My dogs aren't agressive at all, just overly friendly, and the big one only barks for attention, never in aggression but I've seen other dogs take it otherwise, athough I think it's more of a size intimidation thing . He is a big baby

    Oh yea that's right! Yea man you can share my spot if you want. Shouldn't be any problem at all.

    And my boy has no issues with play barking... Just that growl/snarl type aggressive behavior... And he only proved it once...

    One time this lady thought it would be funny to let her pitbull run up to me and Battle (my dogs name) while i was letting him out to walk/potty at a rest stop... I had Battle leashed because it was the rule, the lady did Not... the pit was showing teeth and growling while running towards us... When the pit got to us my boy bit his throat and got on top of the pit.

    The lady was screaming. I pulled my dog off hers and loaded him into the truck. Walked up to the lady and told her she is very lucky to be a woman... Then i drove off... I try and keep him out of them type situations as much as possible now!
