Had a chat with McNeil while ordering some bedsides. I think if my truck ever becomes a dedicated fun truck then I could see myself going that route. For now standard sua will work. I just think the sway might get a little crazy for me. For those that have links,
Does it hinder crawling at all compared to a standard sua leaf pack? My guess is no, but wasn't sure.

My guess is no as well but they do hang lower than leafs so I would imagine on some more difficult trails they would get drug and bashed on rocks more.

Still one of the best Tacomas I've seen on here. Everytime I see a picture of it it makes me want to do links just don't know if I can justify the cost. Would love to see it in person or video of it in the dirt.

Depends on if you want to keep the regular cab or not. If not I'd put all the stock parts back on the regular can and sell the suspension and accessories separate. Regular cabs are tough to sell for a reasonable amount

Depends on the setup, some may hang a little lower but pretty sure you can still crawl on links :)

That's honestly my biggest argument with your ride. I feel like with it you will either upgrade for more interior space or eventually it will become a fun machine. If the later is what it becomes, then yea man build it. I just know for me a regular cab is too small just for my lifestyle alone without accommodating other people.

I don't believe this vehicle has the word "crawl" in its vocabulary. But it'll bash the sh*t through all sorts of rocks just fine lol

Most guys go 62" springs with a 12" shackle above the frame. You can buy all the stuff from Total Chaos and Deaver. Most guys recommend the H70 (now called the E30) springs.

    http://www.chaosfab.com/1996-2004-Toyota-Tacoma-Off-Road-Suspension-Accessories.html

There is a Giant kit that has 64" springs which is the only kit for the first gen that is recommended from them (don't get the 62" kit as you can get the same stuff for less from Total Chaos)

DMZ is also in the works with a first gen kit I was told when I emailed them a few months ago.
