so I've been looking at the all pro expedition leaf pack and the deaver expedition packs... the only difference I can see is the deavers have the 2 overload leafs underneath and the all pro does not... for the price range deavers are almost twice the price... any suggestions? trying to do as much research as possible but there is mainly 2nd gen threads and not much on 3 gens

I'm not sure if there's much difference between the second gen and 3rd gen as far as rear leafs go, but if this helps for reference, here's a pic of my deaver expo leaf pack before I mounted my bumpstops up. They're firm when unloaded but when fully kitted out they ride amazing. Also I just love showing my shit off any chance I get :anonymous:

did you think the almost double the price tag was worth it? I know for $1k I can get the deaver expo leafs and extended brake lines ON THE OTHER HAND I could go Allpro Expo's, extended brakes lines and a new IFS lol

I had a deaver add-a-leaf before and I smoked that pack pretty fast from being overloaded so that's really the only other bar, besides stock suspension, to measure against. So as far as a "doing the job" standpoint It was 100% worth it. THAT BEING SAID, I'm horribly good at convincing myself that I NEED overly priced truck mods lol. I feel like I may not be the only one with that skill:fingerscrossed:

damn you lol I currently have ICON AAL with my oem leafs and its basically worthless with my dual swing arm steel bumper, full size spare, jerry can rack and campershell... I just need to figure out from some more people if the deavers are worth the extra $500! decisions, decisions...

I also suffer from wallet-itis. It's quite contagious on this site. My wife wonders if I will ever be cured. My PCP has sent me to numerous specialists with no improvement in symptoms. The only thing that gets me through the day is getting one more item. Maybe this is the one that will solve all my issues. Good luck OP. I hope we haven't passed on the illness to you. Stay away from @ramonortiz55 , he'll just make your truck more awesome, I mean spend more.

Let the mods flow forth and wash over you like a river!! Lol your truck is awesome OP. I think either way you go, your gonna be happy. There's a lot of happy people with all-pro expos and I hear good things on the site about the new dakar pack. I absolutely love these kind of "dilemmas" cause it puts in perspective how awesome these trucks are and how good we have it to have this much aftermarket support lol

actually the new dakars haven't really been proven according to my research for the "perfect" set of springs lol @HeadStrong Off-Road did an amazing comparison of the old and new Dakar leaf packs and the new ones haven't really been out long enough but the attention to detail of the new Dakar packs have strayed me away purely on the fact that they have horrible paint issues right off the bat... multiple new sets I've seen on here look like they've been beat up with a chain before even being installed... the deaver expedition pack looks amazing and I love the mix of the allpro leaf design and the Dakar with the two overload springs underneath but for almost $1k! I know you get what you pay for but with the reviews I've heard from the all pro expo leafs I could get the best of both, still get extended brake lines AND get my new IFS which I know isn't a necessity but would be much stronger and look 10x better than my hacked up oem one lol

I've been looking at this pack the past couple days, seems like it'll fit my needs. Please do a review in them if you can! Interested to see what others think of it haha

Oh you better believe that as soon as my broken ribs heal, I'll be getting right to work on installing these. On paper, they should be great and I can say that the build quality is top notch
