    I have the drop kit, but I haven't been able to install the lift just yet. I will install it when I do the lift (obviously), but is it noticeably better than without the drop kit?

    @HeadStrong Off-Road

    I just got my new light duty leafs today with the rest of my kit. I only got around to installing the front end stuff but plan to hit the rear tomorrow. My question is which direction goes forward on these leaf packs? I know the old ones had bushings pre-installed which faced towards the front... The new ones of course come with no bushings since you install the ones you guys provided. Thanks in advance!

    There should be an arrow painted on one end that points toward the front of the truck.

    I'll post some real info soon but the seat of the pants review is very positive! I went from old stock leafs with bilstein 5100's to the el095r's and the ride was noticeably better. Smoother and less chattery on rough pavement at speed and pretty fun on the trail. My only negative is it sounds like the suspension is hitting max extension with a lound thwack quite often while on the trail so I am planning to install some b110's. I hope that cures it. Not squeaky at all.

    I'm gonna use the standard length 5100s for awhile. We're the trails you were doing pretty hard? I mostly hit easy fire roads to get to yellow post sites

    Reading thru another OME thread.....some people's sway bar are hitting the front coils making a loud bang. May want to check that.

    pretty sure it's coming from the back of the vehicle but I did notice the UCA gets really close to my coils.

    They were rough/boulder-ey low range kind of roads.

    Ok, figured I would mention.......one of the reasons I am hesitant about lifting it. There is so much more involved in these lifts unlike Jeeps I am used to.

    yeah - always good to have more info! The front lift i did didn't change the front suspension geometry, but the shock may allow more travel, so it's a good point. The rear seems like it's clunking everytime i come off a boulder or lip, so that's why I think it's the shock hitting max extension...

    Posted a little write-up of my install.... I still need to get the post-install measurement to determine how much lift i got, but will do so next week...

    So how is the ride with the 096 HD pack without any load in the bed? Planning on running King shocks.

    I want ~3" of lift in the rear on my 17, but I normally dont carry anything in the bed, and dont want the ride to be chattery or bouncy which I know can happen when spring rates are to high for the load. The 095 pack I dont think will give me the lift I want(2"). The 095 pack with the D29XL would seem to give maybe 2.5" lift(2" from 095 and .5" from D29XL) so still not quite what I am looking for.

    I pulled th AAL out of my el096 spring pack the other day. Lost about 1" of height, currently at 24.5" hub to fender.

    Ride is Sooo much smoother now too without any weight in the bed. I'd venture to say it's smoother than stock when coupled with icon 2.0 shocks. I would suggest extended length shocks though since I have about 6" of compression travel and only 3" of extension travel

    yea im thinking the 096 pack by itself will be about what I am looking for, like I said, just worried about the ride a bit.
