Lift/Suspension installation

Anyone have any recommendations to get a lift installed in the Seattle area? I'm no where near that skilled.

 

Just watch some install videos and DIY. I was nervous but ended up installing it myself which allowed me to spend more money on a better suspension kit.

I'm also lacking a garage/location to do something like that. My truck lives in a parking lot.

 

Look for a self-service garage. You can always take a drive down to PDX to rent a lift and tools from Gearhead Garage in Tigard. Look it up on Yelp. A bunch of our local Taco group goes there regularly to install our mods and to just hang out to help others.

There's self service garages in Kent too instead of pdx

 

TorFab in Everett or Auburn Car repair and offroad on the South end if you want someone else to do it

 

This. Lots of DIY videos showing how to install suspension on Tacoma's.

Find a corner in a big parking lot. If Roadkill can change out an engine in a parking lot, then a suspension lift should be no problem.

 

I once replaced all the wheel bearings and brake shoes on a 27' tandem axle boat trailer in a Walmart parking lot.

 

Never knew about this until now! would be a perfect place to install a lift kit. how often do taco owners meet And hang out there?

 

Pretty regularly actually. I think it's slowed now that summer is in full swing, but people randomly just go to hang out with the owner, Mike. He's a super cool guy. Look him up.
