Welding on the frame of a 2nd gen Tacoma what needs to be removed besides the positive terminal on the battery, to avoid damaging any of the electronics?

    Thanks in advanced

12v accessory plug right rear bed bin,1gallon air compressor setup in left rear bed bin, 3-window bed topper.
I would completely unhook the battery, notmjust the positive side.

    Reserected from the dead.
Just weld. I don't even bother. If it makes you feel better, disconnect the negative cable.

i just weld, the biggest issue is how you ground it. just make sure you ground near the weld and you are good.

This is what I do. I used to unplug the computer but that got old. Disconnect the battery and ground close to your welding area

Current is going to take the path of least resistance so ground as close as you can. When I welded a nut on my front diff drain plug I actually just held the nut in the ground of the welder until it was tacked in place and had at it so technically the current was only in the plug and nut I welded on.
