We drive Taco's. But where's the best place to eat em?
Best place I've found is La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant in High Point NC. I think there a
small chain of 4 or 5 Restaurants.

Their Mexican City Taco's served with a bowl of Chorizo beans are to die for.

I love making my own :dancingbacon:

My little secret is taking the soft shell taco, fully assembled, and putting it in a skillet with hot olive oil and frying it just for a few seconds. It adds flavor on a whole new level.

That does sound pretty good. What's in the fully assembled?

I always make my own meat concoction: Ground beef, onions, black beans, garlic, jalapeno, Franks, cumin, chili powder, and Adobo.

Then I'll top them with diced tomato, cilantro, sour cream, and onion.

Sometimes I'll add rice if I want a big ass bomber style taco.

It's easier to fry them if you roll it up like a burrito.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
Cash only taco trucks seem to be pretty good.

Now the only question is. Hard shell or soft?

Try heating the hard shells on the top rack of a gas grill. Wait til they start turning a little brown. It changes the taste of them completely. So much better than heating in the oven.
