Good episode.

Nice to see Daeny and her war council discussing the agenda at hand. It all seemed so easy, but as we saw later war doesn't always go as planned. Euron made sure of that! I wasn't sure if the entire fleet got destroyed or if just the lead ship and it's escorts got attacked? I guess we'll find out if Theon swims to another ship and goes back to Dragonstone to break the news. I thought of the Unsullied and didn't remember how they planned to go to Casterly Rock.

I liked the scene with Arya and Nymeria. I hope that isn't the last we see of her and that she reunites with Arya again. I anticipate Arya making it back to Winterfell and only finding Sansa there. That should be a touching scene.

I am really looking forward to Jon and Daeny meeting in the next episode. Will he bend the knee? I am assuming he will once she hears about the Night King and his army, but after Cersei is dealt with of course. I have a feeling Cersei is not long for this world. I am guessing she gets taken out before the end of this season. I am not sure yet if she will accept Euron's proposal, and if she does and dies later like I'm anticipating, will Euron sit upon the Iron Throne?

 

Yeah, Mesandi . That Unsullied can't disappoint her like I could. As soon as I saw the wolves running around I was like "yes, a Direwolf is back." The battle at sea was awesome and Euron is a force to be reckoned with. With so many of the characters wanting Cersei dead and for good reason I can't see her lasting very long either, but I bet she will outlasts this first half of the season. Good on Samwell for stepping up to help Jorah the Explorer. That scene made my skin hurt.

 

That transition to the guy eating was ridiculously disturbing...I had to turn my head during the peeling of the graystone part...weak stomach..

 

As did I! I saw him stab into it and then the transition and was like ah gross! Then quickly realized it was just the pie

They talked about it in the post-episode breakdown on HBO where the producers/writers comment on various scenes. In the 1st season Ned said something to Arya like 'that isn't you' referring to how she was like the other kids so when Arya tried to get Nymeria to come back to her and be her loyal pup again and she turns around and leaves Arya says 'That isn't you' as in she isn't a domesticated dog like the others wolves were.

My friends all seem to think she will just lurk around Arya and come back at some point but I think she is gone

Ghost is Jon's. Not sure why they don't have the wolf around more during his scenes. They used to always be together and now Ghost is (I'm assuming) in a pin somewhere. Maybe he will go with Jon to dragonstone

 

Last I remember seeing him is when Jon was revived...Maybe after that they let him go?

 

Yeah Ghost was in the room where they were all taking safe haven before the other men came to attack them and beat on the door.
