Quite the truck you built, Brian. Must be bittersweet to see it go :/
But glad you got it sold and can now focus on the 80!

Congrats man. I def. know those feels.

The first guy that bought my 4Runner basically wanted something that looked cool that he could take surfing and camping. You know, stuff a stock truck could do.

I was stoked that it ended up with @Bennett707 as I knew (and can now see through photos) that it would still be used for what it was intended, and not just sitting in San Francisco.

Good news: I finally got my damn sliders mounted this weekend.

Bad news: I kinda wish I would have angled them up a little less (went about 10 degrees, should have just gone flat). Also, they come a little closer to the pinch weld than I expected and it clunks over big bumps, so I guess I'll need to clearance the pinch weld a bit.

Yeah I bet, I know he'll use it off road but he just needs to gain experience then he'll be good.

1/2" body lift time. Clearancing (that's not a word..) that pinch weld was a pain in the ass for me, and still didn't work lol...

I'm considering doing that even though I HATE body lifts.

But, I'd only need about 1/4" of body lift so I don't think it would be noticeable. And I could probably accomplish it with just a couple thick washers on each body bolt.

Found a better solution. If you install the Energy Suspension polyurethane cab mounts with the two pieces flipped (thin one on the bottom, thicker one on top), it gives you a small body lift. Win.

Any of you guys ever used r134a with the UV dye for finding leaks in A/C systems? My car appears to have a leak in the low pressure side so thinking of charging it back up with a can of that stuff and seeing. The high side still had a charge but the low pressure read zero.

Up near Baker exploring with my buddy. Came across a few trails that were hogged out and forced me to air down, take out that trailer hitch and wail on the Detroit. Shit was fun.:turtleride:
    A good day to explore.

I'm going to be near Spokane this weekend (Diamond Lake area, about 45 minutes north of the city). Anyone know of any good off roading in that area? I looked around online a bit and haven't found much.
