I'm committed to doing the fence on my own. Just put my order in with the fence wholesaler. Should be good for at least one good, full day of cursing.

 

If your doing chain link don't waste money on a link puller all you need to do is slide a piece of rebar vertically through and use two ratchet straps top and bottom to stretch the fence to your anchor point. A truck winch would also work

Thanks for the tip. I was actually going to just buy an extra tension bar and use come-alongs. I hadn't thought about ratchet straps, they would be better because they wouldn't mar up the posts.

They told me the limit is one replacement, which makes sense. Otherwise people would buy parts that they know are going to fail from beating their vehicle through the woods or something, then get them replaced every couple months.

More than likely, I'll be replacing this truck before I need to worry about it again anyway.

 

Morning all - I miss my truck. Every other vehicle here is a lifted truck of some sort. I haven't seen so many ARB bumpers before in my life....

 

Rock auto always seems to have thr best deals on calipers, can even get them loaded with pads too. But IMHO any of the aftermarket calipurs ive had all seize up after 2 winters. The best thing you can do do prolong the life is soak them with WD40 before the first salt coating. Other than that get oem toyota

 

At least toyota didnt take your truck from you. Ive had a corolla for 3 days, probs for the next week if not longer. TURD GEN

 

I wish I had put new seals into my OEM ones, but I wasn't sure what kind of luck I'd have with that.

I'm looking at a new full size a year from now. Trying to hoard enough cash so I can do it with only a tiny loan, then I can pay it off quick and have new vehicles with no payments.

 

Fullsize mod? Go titan its the only decent one, the tundras timing issues steer me away from those. Did the same with my 3rd gen stashed cash since 2015 to get a small note on mine. Only have had a few issues with it in the last 4 months. The rear diff is getting replaced this week, and the damn nav is quirky so maybe theyll fix that too.
